Welcome to the Reach Basketball Youth League Website!

The Winter Reach Basketball Youth League (RBYL) introduces 3rd thru 6th graders, boys and girls, to basic fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, and passing and it provides instruction and games. Major emphasis is placed on personal values, team spirit, sportsmanship and fair play. Competition is part of the game, however we place emphasis on participation from all members of the team. RBYL is designed to strengthen each participant’s self-esteem, personal relationships and fitness in an atmosphere of fun and excitement.

  • Winter 2012 League Dates: January 30th through March 10th
  • Championship games are held at US Airways and scheduled to occur on March 10th. (Date subject to change)
  • Registration Opens November 11th
  • Registration Fee (per player): $140
  • Included in Registration:
  • 2 1-hour practices per week – Evening only practices available - click for practice locations/time
  • At least 1 game per week with certified adult referee
  • Game Jersey

  • Team Picture
  • Ticket to Phoenix Suns game, Date: TBD
  • Opportunity to play in US airways arena!! The top 2 teams in both divisions will play the championship game at the US Airways Arena.  Just imagine your youth could be playing on the same court as many of the NBA greats!

Register Early!  Team rosters are developed based on practice time and location selected at time of registration.  Each team will have no more than 10 players to ensure that each player gets adequate playing time.  Teams by practice time are first come, first serve.  Please register early.
