There will be 2 divisions:
- 3rd & 4th Grade
- 5th & 6th Grade
**In either division, we must have enough players registered to form at least 6 teams to have the league for the respective division. If not enough teams are formed by January 17th then the division may be cancelled and registration fees will be refunded.
**The league is Co-Ed (Boys and Girls on the same teams). However, if we get enough girls registered to form at least 4 girls teams in either division, we will separate the division into a boys and girls division in the respective age group.
ELIGIBILITY:
Player must currently be enrolled in either the 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grades. Individuals are strongly encouraged to register early.
FEES:
- $140 per player
- Late Fee of $25 is applied if registering after

REGISTRATION:
All players must complete ON-LINE registration before they will be permitted to practice or play in games. Registration Fee Payment is required at the time of registration. There are no exceptions to this policy and absolutely NO REFUNDS or prorates (unless league is cancelled). CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
KEY DATES TO REMEMBER:
- On-Line Registration Begins – 11 November

TEAMS AND NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
- Teams will be determined by division and practice time and location.
- When registering, you must choose the practice location & time that your youth is registering for. All individuals registered at the same location and time for their respective divisions will be placed on the same team (up to 10 players). There will not be any team tryouts.
- Each team shall consist of no more than 10 players. This will allow fora fair amount of playing time for each player on a team.
- Team will be formed once registration closed on January 18th and will be communicated to each paid registrant by January 25th.
PRACTICE TIMES & LOCATIONS:
Each team practices twice per week. Each practice is 1 hour.
Practices are held at various elementary and junior high school sites throughout the Chandler Unified School District. (See below for a list of those sites). Practice sites are limited based on site/facility availability. All practices are held in the evening indoors between 6pm and 8:45pm.
You can register for ANY school site that has a team, even if it is not your home school. These are simply the locations where teams will practice. In certain cases, the practice start times can be slightly adjusted to meet the needs of the teams.

- Bogle Junior High – GYM (Mondays & Wednesdays)
- Santan Junior High – GYM (Mondays & Wednesdays)
- Ryan Elementary – MPR (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
- Navarette Elementary – MPR (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
- Payne Junior High – GYM (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
TEAM PRACTICES:
Each team will practice twice per week.Each practice will be one hour. Parents of players will be notified via email by their coach prior to the first practice to confirm the time and location.Practices for all teams will begin the week of Jan 30, 2012.
GAMES:
Games are played on Saturdays and will begin on February 4. Detailed game and playoff schedules will be posted to the website by January 31. Game times will be between 8am – 5pm and will be played at Santan Junior High GYM. Teams may play more than one game on a given Saturday, be sure to check the schedule.
REFEREES:
Experienced Adult Certified referees are utilized during all games.
CANCELLATIONS:
Practices and games can sometime be cancelled due to weather conditions or special activities occurring in a particular school.If there is a cancellation, either Reach staff or the team coach will notify the players. Every effort will be made to reschedule any cancellations, but may not always be possible.
EQUIPMENT:
Reach will provide team jerseys for the teams once they are formed. Players must provide their own shorts, socks and shoes. Players are encouraged to bring water bottles to the games.
VOLUNTEERS:
It is important that we utilize as many volunteers that are available.Volunteers are greatly needed as coaches, assistant coaches, scorekeepers and timers.Potential coaches or assistant coaches who are not parents or legal guardians are subject to a background check as deemed by the CUSD.Reach will provide coaches’ training in January as required.If you wish to volunteer as a coach, assistant coach, scorekeeper or timer, please send us an email at admin@reachbasketball.com to obtain more information.
